If you would like to implement it in your private server and need some help let me know ;) I would love to make even more cool features on top of it. I'm especially looking for good PK oriented servers with good code base.

would like to see this implemented in higher revision clients. byproduct of this is a decent mobile version of ur client btw.

this is amazing :o only thing that I don't like is the fact that its not refactored :p other then that its really amazing, better then anything i've seen in quite some time in the RSPS scene.

This is incredible. Just wondering though, is the cache loaded from the website or is it downloaded to the client first? I've never used typescript/rust, but if it's loading through the website when loading through the user's computer is possible, then that's definitely going to impact the performance, possibly even the FPS.

This is nice. Have you written any tests? I imagine there could be some behaviour that is unexpected given it's a rewrite of the runescape client.

I'm surprised Jagex hasn't rewritten their OSRS client in a frontend language so it can run on the browser like it used to

Web Assembly has only really been properly supported in (all) modern web browsers since late 2017, and even still its support is pretty rudimentary. Any big company is going to be apprehensive about putting it into production for an important product like Runescape at this point. The company I work for is apprehensive about putting nodejs into production and it's been around for 10 years!

Seems a bit silly but given the (potential) risk to the business, I understand the concern surrounding adolescent technology.

This brings me back man....
You make me feel old you freak <3

I'd like to see what else you've got in store, very curious to see how this little project turns out fella!

they barely have engine devs for making changes to the existing java client let alone rewriting the entire thing in a completely different language with a completely different compile target

God this brings me back to my first web client and how I miss them so much in this day...

good job and good luck furthering this project!

Quite sad tbh. Only thing Jagex is good for these days is experience on the CV.. Nobody with actual talent is coming in for £29k and free fruit at lunch.

Very impressive work detuks.
