I am thrilled that we managed to get a decent turnout. We had quite a few fantastic submissions. It was incredibly cool to see several pieces from people who had never participated in previous competitions. And I would like to give my sincerest thank you to everyone who partook. Despite the current activity level on the site, not to mention the graphics board, old-school forums are very special. There are few places left on the internet that much larger forms of social media have not swallowed up; communities where you genuinely know each other, where you can make your own rules and bond with one another. Be it an intricate digital painting or a "two-layer-sig", there is a ton of unique art that exists solely on websites like these. From the bottom of my heart, I hope we can keep this going. I encourage everyone interested in participating to stick around for the next one
