Thank you and there are far more other artists here that charge more than what I ask, I think it is fair. I do need to adjust the thread with more past work and fix the pricing for logos to be “20-75”. The more you pay the more detail gets put into the artwork.

Animated icons I’ll adjust to, but this is more so for discord etc with the flames, lightning and effects. Over time I will post more previous work and update this topic so the prices seem worth it.

But to be fair, you can’t do something for 8 hours-or higher and expect to be paid less than $50. You want quality, you pay for it!

Hey thanks Mokhtar! I’ll fix the prices until I’ve established better quality for the prices I’m currently charging, appreciate your feedback. I might start out a tiny business for just logos and charge the minimum to do a good deed for the community.

Yeah if the quality is high enough people will pay for it. But IMO if I look at your work, there is enough to improve to get paid for ‘quality’. Like mokhtar said, the prices are to high for the quality you have shown on your thread. So either show higher quality images that are worth the money you are asking OR change the prices,

He hasn't posted much of a portfolio yet to truly back his prices up but assuming the quality isn't there isn't right. If you're asking for less, you're setting yourself up for failure when you could be making better money at a REAL job hourly then waste hours on someone's logo because they wanted to be cheap about it. If you get greedy with the costs then expect a shit outcome. Paying the designer more not only gives them confidence, but would also benefit you also in the long run as you know that person is putting their blood, sweat and tears building the masterpiece.
Can't be cheap nowadays in this world or judge anyone by the cover. Pay to play.

FAT amen to this. Graphic designers are underrated. If you don't want to pay for your designs go use Canva.

Depends on what your goals are. Having a low price isn't necessarily bad. You get more customers, which gives you more exposure while you also get a lot of practice. You could sell logos for like $200 and only get one order or sell them for $25 and get 10 orders. Either way best of luck to you. That Stargazer logo looks pretty cool, hope to see more like it

Out of all 10 orders I think you would just be rushing to get everything each individual order done resulting failure in the final piece. You need to space your artwork out as it is a one person job. Doing all at once trying to be the fastest graphic designer on this community doesn't sound like a kickstart to me.

Let's break this down. Pretend you are earning monthly.
Some orders can take up to 3 days to complete like for example $25 for 3 days for 10 orders = $250 (1 month worth of work). But then you get the average customer 2 times a month for $200 and end up with $400 profit for 9 days worth of time invested.

I forgot to include however that I will be practicing more and have reduced my pricing down by a substantial amount to improve my portfolio. Moving on!

Lmao, I paid over $1500 in graphics alone, 'lowballer'. Omni asked between $100-$300 for a logo piece, Wave did the same. Which was very worth the quality they delivered.

OT: I think when Sleeper has more recent work (portfolio) to show, its also easier to ask more money. Customers can then see more of his work and see what the quality is.
I fully understand that a logo like this isn't made in an hour or two, so for $25 u can't expect an master piece that took 10 hours to finish.
