Rage-Scape - Remaking RuneScape PreEoC

Nothing much to be said for today update wise. I did alot of miscellanious things. Let me sum up what I did today for you guys.
-Shoveled for a few hours, lots of it. I hate snow, especially when there is school and lots of snow. Why?
-Started up a coding business because we need more money to support the server, however don't worry. There is content I will not be selling to keep the server unique. Processed and completed a few orders today.
-Re installed the vps for a fresh start to clear up some memory issues. Also got more space on it to save some precious backups. Aswell I got some features upgraded to 64 bit so that it runs alot better such as java, dropbox, etc.
-Misc. bug fixes because I had the spare time, well some. The rest I spent ingame for a bit trying to look at the mass dc issue.

Sorry I wasn't on today, I had extended swim practice because I have a giant swim meet tomorrow and Sunday which is the length of school, so you may not see me alot during those days. On a more positive note, it is February vacation so the days after you can expect alot. And lets really try hard to advertise since it is vacation and people have time to play. Anyways here is what I managed to do in the small time I have.
-Temporarily disabled the shield interface in the Warrior's Guild.
-If a price is less than or equal to 0 it is set to 1, so it doesn't eat your cash.
-Items that are untradeable are now dropped on death rather than converted to coins.
-Fixed many things with the Evil Tree so it is more flawless now :)
-Added HP and stats to the void knights so you can now complete Pest Control.
-Added Wilderness Obelisks so you can teleport all over the wilderness.

Yes it will, however right now I am working on completing the main skills. Many people claim to have 100% skills, but that is never the case. I am working on adding all the features to every skill. Dont get me wrong, this will be a challenge and take time, but it is all worth it.
 
Keep it going! This will be so popular when it comes out I assume, since I have never seen a pre-eoc remake.
 
Penguin Hide and Seek - Distractions and Diversions
This is a fun little event I loved doing on actual RuneScape, and I guess other people have enjoyed it too. I received an abnormal amount of requests for this so thought why not. This has my added spin to it.
-A penguin will spawn every hour and a hint to its location will be displayed, good luck!
-Correct animations for spotting, etc. to make this as complete as possible.
-Support for different types of penguins and the animations. Examples are bushes, rocks, cactus, etc. and even invisible.
-Penguin Point system in which you gain a point for finding a penguin, you cannot get multiple points from the same penguin unless another event has started.
-World handling system to announce the penguin, spawn them, and destroy the penguins that are no longer going on.
-Thanks to the help of Random, there are 50+ different locations with a set of hints for each one, goodluck.
-Many rewards for penguin points ranging from cash and spins, to exp lamps of all sizes, to even cosmetic and fun items that players will enjoy!

Sorry I've been out of the scene for a few days. I had my day long swim meets, training, and a day long party today. I literally was home for about 30 minutes today. Luckily, I had some time Sunday so I got some updates done ahead of time which I was able to release tonight. So here is our continuation on daily content. You should see a lot of me tomorrow!
Sink Holes - Distractions and Diversions
This is based off of the RuneScape event, however I tweaked this so that it has my own twist and benefits skillers, as they need some momre features.
-Sink holes will appear every 1-5 hours, so keep on the look out.
-Around 20 different sink hole locations, all with hints that are announced when they appear.
-Cave collapsing system, these sink holes will only last for a hour and after that time is up players will have to escape from the collapsing sink hole and the entrance will cave in.
-Many skilling resources including banks, trees, rocks, fishing spots, etc. can be found in the sink holes, a great way to make money and level up.
-Spawning the entrance and destroying it after the sink hole collapses as well as entering, exiting, etc.
-Mining Zone: Contains a convenient bank along with a giant pure essence vein. This also includes many runite, adamanite, mithril, and coal rocks. For fast training, there is a desert area with granite and sandstone. You can also mine limestone, clay, and even gems here. This is the ultimate hotspot for mining. Last but not least, if you are in for the money, there is a gold deposit found in here ;)
-Woodcutting/Fletching/Firemaking Zone: There is a forest of trees, but not the crappy regulars and oaks, the ones that players need, in larger amounts. There is some ivy growing on the walls for fast training, there are some maples and willows for whoever wants to fletch, and there are yews and magics for money.
-Smithing Zone: Just your average furnace and anvil beside a nice convenient bank. Should save you the long distance run and money.
-Fishing/Cooking Zone: You can fish lobsters, swordfish, tuna, sharks, and others for money, including the high leveled rock tails and cave fish. Not in it for the money? Why don't you speed train with barbarian leap fish. There is also a range right by the bank to quickly cook your food.
-Thieving Zone: Be a thug and steal from Rage-Scape's citizens. There is a gated area, trapping the poor victims of one of the most profitible skills. You can find nearly every thievable npc, and there are 20+.
-Combat Zone: Gear up and take on training dummies! Take advantage of easy training without risk on these amazing little things before the sink hole collapses!
-Crafting Zone: Need some bowstrings? There's a lovely flax field right next to a spinning wheel and a loom. Want to make some pottery? No problem, there's a potter's wheel and a pottery oven. The possibilites are endless!

Got a bunch of things done today and had a fun time with the server :3 New things are achievable such as the Completionist Cape, Orb of Oculus, etc. so keep an eye out on this thread to know all the new things you can do on the server. How do we move at such a fast pace with a single coder? (cough cough Adam leaves on vacation for lifetime) No one knows, I'm just inhuman/Asian.

General Fixes/Content
-Removed the black dragon spawns from the Sink Holes.
-Added hp to the melee combat dummies.
-Rewrote the Dwarf Cannon system, re enabling the dwarf cannons again.
-The killstreak feature is now working, type ::killstreak
-Put a cap on the max strength bonus. My reasoning behind this is I'm tired of players stealing all the boss kills, nearly 1 hitting in the wilderness, etc. Offhands and over powered weapons were ruining the game like EoC did. I set the cap to what it was PRE-EOC since this is a PRE-EOC server, which was 205 strength bonus. So anything above a 205 strength bonus will be set to 205.
-Drygores have been slightly nerfed, they were way too powerful and everyone knows that.
-Fixed Castle Wars so that it is playable again.
-Added cannon ball smithing, wup wup!
-Completionist Cape has been added with requirements, about 50 of them which will take some hard core grinding to achieve, have fun! These have been added to the Achievement Cape store.

Orb of Oculus
-Purchase this item from the Loyalty Token Store.
-You have the ability to save a location (5 charges).
-You have the ability to teleport to the saved location (1 charge).
-You can purchase charges using Loyalty Tokens.
-This cannot be activated in minigames, controlers, etc.

Sorceress Garden
Worked on fixing up and completing the Sorceress Garden after realizing I never finished the one in the Matrix base, as it was going to be a Completionist Cape requirement.
-Apprentice and dialogue with all options, phrase shouting, and teleporting. Along with the cat, you can't forget the cat.
-Ability to enter all the gardens with the level requirements.
-Corrected the Elemental path walking and detecting, sends you out when caught properly.
-Ability to pick herbs or squirk at the end of the garden, so it's either money or exp.
-Added the full dialogue to Osman (or what I think is 100%).
-Added squirk juicing of all kinds using a pestle and mortart, along with a beer glass and the squirk.
-Exchanging squirk juice for thieving exp.

I was on a roll today, got boat loads done. From some bug fixes to large additions to skills. Before I list on the updates, I want to thank a developer from Sallesy for helping me finally fix this horrid Black Screen issue. Now that that's over, here we go!

-MAJOR NEWS: Fixed the blackscreen for new players! WUP WUP!!!!
-Cannonball moulds no longer turn into cannonballs when smelted.
-The max hit cap of 205 was removed, that was a mistake and was not intentional.
-The strength bonus is now properly set to 205 max, instead of the max hit. I had a switch up on accident because I was tired as hell.
-Added leather tanning of all sorts in Al Kharid, enjoy :)
-You can now craft leather and dragon hide things with a needle and thread.

Squeal of Fortune Revamped
-Patched the dupe that this one person knew how to abuse allowing them to spin unlimited times.
-Worked on the rewards, added some, got rid of some. I'm open to suggestions for rewards!
-Made it so you don't get billions of lamps, now they are evenly spread out in the boxes.
-It shouldn't give the wrong item anymore, almost 100% gaurenteed.
-New method of sorting out the different types of spins.
-Ability to send some items to your bank when claiming.
-Interface fixed up a bit as it looked a bit wierd before.
-Saw it on another server so decided to add it, a system to announce when players got a rare item ^.^

Construction Objects
I got 3 rooms finished and complete (interactions, building, etc).
-Finished the Chapel Room, Workshop, and Portal Room.
-You can now construct every type of altar.
-You can pray at the altars along with using bones on them.
-You can now construct every type of torch/burner.
-Using clean marrentil, you can light your torches/burners.
-You can now construct every type of symbol/icon.
-You can now construct rugs in the Chapel.
-You can now construct all kinds of musical instruments.
-You can attempt to play the musical instruments in your house.
-You can now construct every statue in the Chapel.
-You can now construct every form of repair bench.
-You can repair items on your repair benches.
-You can now construct every form of crafting bench.
-You can create the following on your crafting bench: clockwork, toy horsey, toy soldier, wooden cat, toy doll, sextant, watch, clockwork suit, toy mouse, and clockwork cat.
-You can now construct every form of tool mounts.
-You can grab tools from every type of tool mount, SO MANY FREE ITEMS!
-You can now construct every type of easel/stand.

-You can now construct every type of portal in your Portal Room.
-You can teleport to all the locations using any type of portal.

-Fixed the summoning npc's that looked wierd (eg. Spirit Wolf as a Plant).
-Added more drops to Ghouls so its not just clue scrolls.
-Castle Wars kills now count towards your Completionist Cape.
-The Catapult room in the Warrior's Guild now works properly.
-You can now close the Squeal of Fortune reminder interface.
-Fixed the ingame Castle Wars interfaces.
-Fixed the model for the Diamond Pickaxe.

Assassin's Skill (Coming out tomorrow)
-Worked on a system for leveling the skill and components itself (explained further down).
-There is the main skill, and 4 branches that are trained as you level up depending on which methods of training you use.
-Branches: Assassin Call, Final Blow, Swift Speed, and Stealth Moves.
-System to handle tasks and the different modes/challenges.
-Data entered for different bosses, as in the exp rewarded, the minimum and maximum amount assigned, the time for speed runs, etc.
-Added a nice interface to show your levels in the different branches and total Assassin's skill exp.
-Started on a base for the interface in which you can activate your abilities based on levels.
-Different Assassin Contracts:
-Assassin Call: Take on your challenging assignments and bulk.
-Final Blow: Defeat your assignment using the specified weapon of your master.
-Swift Speed: Quickly take on your assignment in a speed run before the time runs out.
-Stealth Moves: Consecutively kill your assignments without dieing.
-Different Assassin Abilities (Non Wilderness):
-Assassin Call: Summon an assassin to aid you in your battle. The higher your level, the more powerful your assassin is.
-Final Blow: Once your target is below half hitpoints, you gain more power and speed in your attacks.
-Swift Speed: You energy regenerates a lot faster for longer amounts of time, the longer this lasts the higher your level.
-Stealth Moves: Become concealed to agressive monsters. The higher your level, the less likely an agressive monster will notice you.
-Added an Assassin's Orb that handles the interface and stats.

Got many fixes done and new content gaaa this took so long and my brain is dead so no intro today, I'm mentally dieing.
-Fixed issues with the Castle Wars interfaces.
-Fixed the cannonballs achievement so it counts by cannonballs rather than uses.
-If max cash goes over the amount in your inventory, it converts to a cash bag.
-Fixed the slayer skill not working.
-Took Pest Control out of beta mode and now you can play it with many people.
-Added specs to the following: Gmaul, Korasi, Dragon Dagger.
-Patched the Gnome Tunnel glitch allowing you to pass through it multiple times at once.
-Patched the Wilderness Rope Swing allowing you to swing in the same spot over and over.
-Properly fixed the gate walking at the Wildy Course as it was poorly done.
-Fixed the Taverly Wood Tree teleport, now brings you to the right place.
-Added passing through the barrier at the metal dragons.
-Added Scarlet Spirit Shield Ability: Absorbs 50% of the attack and uses 25% to heal you and %40 to deflect. This also protects against dragonfire.
-Gave the void knight more health so that Pest Control is beatable.
-Castle Wars bandages and barricades now work.
-Added a system to handle Global Item Spawns.
-Added every single F2P item spawn on the ground thanks to Adam.

Assassin's Skill Progress
-Added bonuses to Assassin's gear. These will be earned through hard work using the assassin's skill.
-Added bonuses to Daggerfist Claws (better than dragon claws) with an epic special. These are rewards from the Assassin Skill.
-Added bonuses to Quick-Fire Crossbow (close to armadyl crossbow) with an epic special. These are rewards from the Assassin Skill.
-Added 3 sets of armor: Melee Assassin, Ranged Assassin, and Mage Assassin with beast stats and looks. These are rewards from the Assassin Skill.

Money Pouch
-Withdrawing from bank goes to your money pouch.
-Added the option to deposit your money pouch into your bank.
-Fixed the examine option on your money pouch to display the amount.
-Fixed all the options on the bank deposit box.
-Added the "Deposit All" option to bank deposit boxes.
-Picking up money from the ground goes into your money pouch.
-Squeal of Fortune money rewards now go to your money pouch.
-Money Pouch implementation into the Grand Exchange.
-Pest Control cash rewards go to your Money Pouch.
-Monster cash drops now automatically go towards your money pouch.
-Pickpocketing cash rewards go to your money pouch.
-Money Pouch implementation into Construction.
-Gravestones can be purchased using the money pouch.
-Money Pouch implementation into Shops.
-Combination of Money Pouch and Inventory when necessary.
-Basicly, implemented the money pouch as a priority over inventory for everything.

Shops Rework
-Fixed the buttons that couldnt be clicked (now you can buy without right clicking)
-Fixed up the + and - options.
-Implemented full money pouch shopping.
-Added the Stats button that displays most of the item's stats before you buy it.
-Added the ability to switch between the different modes of viewing shops.

Mostly fixes today, had to take a day to relax and do some irl stuff because my brain died from yesterday's updates. None of the less here is what is done today.
-Removed the yell filter, it was getting on my nerves. If you mistreat yell, it's a mute.
-Added 3 shots per fire for the Quick-Fire Crossbow, since the crossbow appears with 3 shots.
-Increased the shooting speed of the "quick"-fire crossbow.
-Modified the special of the Daggerfist Claws.
-Added the Assassin's Interface to the Assassin Orb.
-Added full Glacors as suggested, now they have Glacytes and all their attacks and abilities ;)
-Easened up zeal gain rates and the amount needed to be rewarded for Pest Control.
-Fixed the Sorceress' Garden teleport.
-You can now exit the Pest Control lander.
-Decreased the Hellhound clue drop rate, it was too common.
-Fixed a TON of pouches that couldn't be made in Summoning.
-Added a message to tell you if you don't have the requirements to make a pouch.
-Fixed many bugs with the assassin's skill.
-Solved a possible double drop glitch with the money pouch and coins.
-Started work on the Duel Arena system.

First project thread I have actually been interested when reading. You have added so many features others don't even think of
 
Usually i breeze through changelogs but wow... this was worth looking at. This looks really cool and is actually capturing my interest (almost no server does.) I'd love to play it, keep me informed.
 
Got a decent amount of stuff done today while struggling to complete all of my vacation's homework. We also bought a dedi now that can handle our new growing player count :)
-Fixed the Evil Tree announcement.
-Patched many dupes and bugs with the Duel Arena today.
-Fixed up some contract completion bugs for Assassin's Skill.
-Other bug fixes that I was too lazy to list.
-Did some more work on bank pins.

Added Auto Donation System
-Ability to pay through an awesome web store hosted by RSPSData.
-Prevented many possible exploits and updated the API.
-Added all the statuses and handling of rewarding.
-Added every form of spin ticket and donator token buying.
-Instant redeeming command used to recieved your donated goods.
-Categorized items in the Donations store.
-::donate command now works and brings you to the web store.
 
Got some things done today, not as much as usual, but today was stressful with homework and a workshop for my summer job. Nethertheless I won't let you guys down, here we go!
-Cannons can only be used in multis, this was being abused.
-Worked some more on the Assassin's Skill (no ETA yet).
-Fixed some more dupes with the Duel Arena, may be released this week!
-Worked on the Beta Testing rank, a system that handles features only this group can access.
-Did some more implementation with the Donator System.
-Made auras tradeable for some ease of access.

Adam has some stuff aswell, returning from vacation.
-Fixed Brimhaven objects.
-Added some global item spawns in the F2P region.
-Fixed some npc spawns that were missing.
-Bartender at Seer's village can be spoken to for barcrawl rather than poison salesman.
-Scrapped Demon training(gg.you have to go find demons to kill them).
-Solved the issue with certain NPC's not respawning.
-Added HP and stats to Hobgoblins in Asgarnian Ice Dungeon.
-Added Multiple types of Ice Wyverns in Asgarnian Ice Dungeon(same drops).
-Added Multiple types of Fire Giants in the Waterfall Dungeon (same drops).

Bank Pins - Account Safety?
-You can now set your own lovely pin talking to a banker.
-Got the interfaces working, randomizing the positions of the numbers each time.
-Bank pin saving, setting, resetting, confirmations, etc.
-Pin entering only once, unless you log out.
-Ability to recover your pin in the proper amount of days.
