Thanks but this isn't too much of a contribution is it?
To fix the "xstream issues" you only had to implement "Serializable" in the affected classes, right?

Not just that. Their was a few other issues with the copy that I had. Took me a good hour or two to figure everything out.
I've heard of soo many people having issues getting this working in eclipse i figured id help everyone out that wants to me RSC servers again.
I'd for sure like to see a few more

Thanks for your hard work Reich. I just have one question about the Client. When I click Login, it says "There is an updated client, please download new client."
But I don't see any link to a new client in forums, nor on the Client itself. Is there some way I can disable that check feature or if you have the updated client that I can download that?

I have tried downloading the EASYRSC client but it doesn't see the Noobscape server running. So I am hoping there is an easy answer or an easy code change that can make it run on the client it has and not go looking for newer clients.

I have tried a few other clients but they won't connect to the server. I really like Classic, and your server setup looks nice.

Here is Noobscape v4. This is the final version that Yong Min built. Its not the greatest but overall, the most easy and bug free to get set up to play around with. Download NetBeans IDE and load this project:

try uncommenting line 123 in mudclient.java and recompile, that fixed it for me.

edit: it is located in this directory "RSC Client\src\org\rscdaemon\client

I get a different issue when attempting to login. It tells me the server rejected the session and within the server GUI it gives me odd lettering with issues following the error

I have same issue, posts that in console and on client it says "Error Unable to Login, Server rejected Session.
