first of all i done all your thing correctly as it says. and i got two problems.

1. accessing the website works fine. but when i login it redicts me to another ip same when i create an rscd character. and where is the dokoments suppose to be?

2. when i try to start the server my computer whines about something c:/dokument and settings/swescape/lokal settings/daniel_blabla doesnt work correctly and the lserver just dissapear

1: got o you DB click on rscd db shearch for config klick on the browse server for where it rredicate you i think its localhost change it to what youi site do nor use do not do it with WWW.

the other is maby tools.jar? go to jdk/lib think or use the search bottom and search for tool in SUN.folder.
copy the tool.jar past into Program files/java/lib

Kay, that was kinda funny error.. that "attempting to connect"

I messed hours with it, didnt get the point..like how to fix it and stuff.

If you add your ip everywhere, it will try to connect with forum you just created, use ip like 127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin... and it will connect with first try..

thats just wrong the server doesn't connect with the forum the only thing the server connect is to the db. i told them to use their ip couse the LSserver to connect with the same ip like when you use localhost *ip*

ok so basically, im a little confused...

"Open you (CONF.file) wich is named (LS)" <--- I dont understand that part at all. and next part.. I did the java thing, I dont have the "tools.jar" and when I compile it says "'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Press any key to continue. What does this mean, and also. I open my run_server and run_lsver and they both exit as soon as i open them. Help?

I have same problem as utxz when i click on them both run server they exit.. also it won't let me access to forum also and i did everything you said..

EDIT: I figured out what but run lserver and run server said it says build error: Build.xml does not exist

build failed..

Something like that i see build.xml.. any idea what to do?

i say this to both of you! for all the ip's (runS ip/ls ip) is 2 ways to do that either use localhost or use ur own ip! its so fucking easy! and you should update ur java! if you accidonöy removed ur build.xml file u can donwload the server again and take it from there! Read my tutorial again! and btw if you had followed my tut steps u wouldnt have the errors!

I'm getting the same error as Justah. "Attempting to connect to LS.", so I tried what Justah said.

It connects first time, but says the LS is "Null". Then says the Run Engine is running, but after a few minutes it crashes with a Null pointer exception.

The site and everything is working fine, I've added a webclient and configured it nicely, I'm just having trouble with running the server.

Any help appreciated. ^^

Hey, I got everything running except the server. When I run run_server.bat it says Attempting to connect to LS. After I run run_lserver.bat it does all the stuff it should do except it like goes crazy for a second and then it says build succesful and closes out. What do I do to get it running from here?

Hey bro, i'm sorry to say that i'm getting the error that 'ant' is not recognizable. I followed your guide step by step. We however had different java version, mine were newer and up to date. I have my variables set as well. All my other clients work, and start up, its just this 1 for some reason. If you could help that would be great. Thanks.
