Hey

Was pretty much done with rsps but found this idea interesting. Based on my earlier released singleplayer rsps. (except this one aims to be somewhat clean & no custom stuff)

You can pick & choose whatever version u want to play. (Currently ranging from #244-377) I already included all the builds I managed to get working myself, but if u have an old rs2 cache laying around u can also try if that would work. (#377 is the last supported version, but I think u could possibly go down to something like #235 if u happen to get cache somewhere)

Unofficial fan discord: RSPS Central

Short list of notable content changes from available versions (that I could think of + also have been coded in):
Code:
244 - "base rs2" (kind of and close to the earliest possible revision for this project anyway)
254 - kq
270 - fremennik helms
289 - metal dragons
298 - slayer
306 - dragon scimitar & new spells (for example: tele block)
308 - ancients
317 - barrows
327 - farming
333 - new prayers (for example: smite)
339 - fight caves
345 - DKs
362 - chaos elemental

V4.5
Download: https://easyupload.io/s2gw64

(Optional) web:
Full ("full" rs-site): https://easyupload.io/3oklbm
Lite (just hiscores + some extra stuff): https://easyupload.io/efmnn6

V4.5 Patch notes:
- New working gamebuild: 244 (+website DB update + gamebuild tool update)
- New config: MAX_LVL
- Other minor fixes

V4.4.1 Patch notes:
- Fix to cap of min price when selling to overstocked shops
- Fixed some messages

V4.4 Patch notes:
- Fixed range accuracy (there was a small mistake in the formula which greatly affected it)
- Fix to range pkbots able to generate with p2p items on f2p world on old builds
- New config: MOD_2HS (a while ago some1 requested stat modding, due to you having less defence while wearing 2h, it would be fair if you dealt more dmg (dps-wise), so its now possible to try and adjust the 2h bonuses)

V4.3 Patch notes:
- Fix to npcs becoming non-agressive 1 lvl too early
- Fixed crossbows on older builds
- Changed config: WILDY_BOTS, so you have the option to control the combatlvl of generated bots
- Some bot fixes
- Some anim fixes on older builds
- Some1 point out that headicons (prays/skulls) got ordered differently before smite got added, so this should now be working correctly
- Some other minor changes
Website:
- Fix to show correct lesser demon (instead of quest one)

V4.2 Patch notes:
- Fixed quest reward interface not showing on older builds
- Fix to pirates treasure on older builds
- Fix to smelting on older builds
- Fix to cooking on older builds
- Fixes to some npc spawns on older builds
- Fix to swarm random event
- Fix to tanning on older builds
- Fix to leather crafting on older builds
- Reverted cycling change in mining/wc which was added in 2.8.1 to improve sound effects (wasnt needed anymore anyway as the sounds got better update in 3.7), which I noticed sometimes to mess up the cycles and u receive item every tick.
- Some anim fixes on older builds
- Correction to sheep shearing
- Corrected some item ids from npc drops
Website:
- Fix to personal hiscores showing overall rank incorrectly
- Fix to beastiary not showing some combat level options for mobs
- Fix to beastiary not showing some mobs
- Updated drop db (to apply the item id fixes in database too)

New cheats compared to old one: master & setlevel.

A lot of the features of the older singleplayer project is still in there, but a lot of them are atleast currently disabled (bots for example) as the current focus of this is to make the current content work as intended no matter which build you want to be playing on.

PS. Not sure why I even bothered releasing as some ppl already consider me scum for not finishing the earlier singleplayer project or not releasing the source for it. (well thats atleast one of the reasons now, that project will remain discontinued)

Cool. I had forgotten how nostalgic the bend in the bridge was for me going to wizards tower. reminds me of when I started runescape. Sometimes it is the little things that trigger nostalgia.

ive never seen it like that before; but I kinda wish I had so long ago I can understand why they didn't want to keep it that way.

For some reason P2p mode won't turn on even if I have changed it to be on in the server config file. Thank you very much for releasing this btw

Nvm, it works now... weird. :lolbert: Before I got a message about having to be a member when I attempted to pickpocket/fletch. Anyways, thank you again.

Oh weird that it started working for u as I noticed the issue aswell. - Well anyway heres a fixed Server.jar that should work without any issues. https://easyupload.io/gku6dt

Damn Mige, This is cool to see. Sad to see the other project fully discontinued, but hey. At least we have this now :)

Yeah, I need to correct myself again.. I thought it worked but it didn't. I used a knife on oak logs and the fletching interface popped up, but when I used a knife on normal logs I got the message "You need to be in members world to access members content.". I'll use that new server.jar you just sent, thank you! :D

I have always been interested in the single player RSPS stuff, I always keep it downloaded for if i'm ever hard pressed with no internet and need to waste time :p

This is cool to see. I always find single-player stuff like this to be very interesting.

Was hoping you'd release the source for the other single-player project so others can continue it though, especially now that it's discontinued.

V1.1 Now available. Link in 1st post.

V1.1 Patch notes:
- Fixed lots of crashing & other issues on earlier revisions
- Fixed draynor manor basement maze on some of the earlier revisions

Was not really planning to release an update this soon, but noticed quite a few issues in early game content on earlier revisions. - And if some1 is really interested in playing on some earlier revision, this should make the experience much more enjoyable.

We currently have quite a large community (900+ members) based on his previous 06 SinglePlayer.

With the release of this, we will be expanding to support this project as well to help keep it alive.

Feel free to join the community and help report bugs/issues so we can inform Mige for improvements on the project!

V1.2 Now available. Link in 1st post.

V1.2 Patch notes:
- Filtering out items that dont exist from npc drops for the selected version
- Cleaned skillguides from most of the stuff that doesnt exist for the selected version
- Fixed draynor manor basement maze also on the later versions
- And some other minor tweaks

I think im now also done with my personal testing, so finding & reporting more issues is up to the community. (Mainly interested if all the quests can be completed and all areas accessed in #289, that are in that revision and that also work in #377)

Thank you so much for all the work you put into this man! We really appreciate it!
So been playing 1.2 cache 289 all day and I wanted to let you know a few bugs.

Cooking- Insta logs me out when i use shirmp to fire or range.
Mouse Options- Err option one left and right click both preform right click action. Option two only preforms left click actions.
I believe one option should be left click single click right click examine, and ex.

Other than that I love this so much.... Lost my best friend last year and we started scape in 05 so to see 289 again is like so nostalgic :)

- Cooking issue fixed, will be on next update. (currently if u have more than 1 of the fishes in ur inv, its trying to give u the cook-5,10,x option which doesnt exist on that build)
- Have u tried if the mouse options work differently if u use build #377? - if its the same, perhaps ur using java 9 or something? - Should use java 8 to avoid issues.

Oh cool thanks man and no i have only tried 289 atm using java 8 yes. I wonder after you get the things patched up on ea cache version, do you plan on adding more unfinished content? As is it is amazing but I noticed like
rock crabs that came out in 2004 don't seem to be in game and and im sure like any project there is more content to be added. The other main thing is quests, I wonder if you plan on revisiting completing more quests?

hmm, tried the mouse options myself and seems to be working right even on #289. - if I select that I have only one mouse button, its always opening the menu to select the option, if I select I have 2 mouse buttons, left click does the first option, right click opens menu.

Hmm ok well thanks for looking into it. It's very much still playable but like mouse option one only left clicks and mouse two only right clicks for me. It is still enjoyable and much appreciated! So nice to see you revisiting this legendary project of yours! I hope to see more authentic content added for ex. Rock Crabs and other missing NPC/objects. As well as one day all the quests being completed! That would all be very amazing to see but at the same time I respect this as your side hobby and i know RL comes first! This project has been my favorite to witness next to openrsclassic. Thanks a million for every update man!

Highly unlikely that any actual new content will be added, other than possibly fixing some old issues or something. - mainly looking forward to having the existing content work great on all revisions.
