I know Nail did something with bots a while back. But this is an interesting idea a friend and I were discussing.

His idea is to implement autonomous bug reporting with AI bug patching modifying server code. (Bad idea lol!) Cool concept though. Not that I would trust any patching via AI at any level.

There are tools now you can use to train AI, supply patterns and feed it stuff etc.

Anyway his idea was to implement AI so it could patch "low priority" bugs autonomously. Obviously logging etc would be imperative for developer review.

He does a lot of GUI stuff too and was talking about setting up a system where he can "reverse" something with just a click to do his own corrections.

Thoughts on such a .modern system?

Hello, it's Nail.

Even if it worked, it would require a human dev to review changes it made to ensure it doesn't hallucinate as it's famously known for.
In the context of rsps which are often solo developers or small teams anyway, it'd be even more work.
