No, it's an .aex file. I bought the files to an intro. I was wondering how to change text, and preview the outcome, save it as a video file. etc.

Didn't know what to abbreviate it to.

I can't really explain how to edit text through rune-server. I used to make intros a lot and work in afx, since I cannot directly help you I will post a link teaching how to edit text.

You should be able to double click the text in the project and change it. Or look at the bottom of your screen and find the text part of the intro. There are bars (layers) that indicate each object in the project, find where the text layer is and change it.

Also, if you look up at the top and find where it says render under the afx equivalent of "file," that's what you need to make it into an .avi and upload it. The reason I can't specifically help you right now is because I haven't messed with afx in a while.

I would still work in adobe after effects if I had my desktop. I am currently using a laptop and it isn't good enough to run after effects optimally.
